I just found out about Doris passing and I offer my heart felt sympathy to her family. I was one of the many children she cared for in her home and have so many fond memories of her. She was an amazing woman and though she thrived in life I know she will be at peace in heaven with her beloved "sod town Bill". She told us stories about him frequently and I still have her books which I love to read. I hope the family takes comfort in the fact that she has finally been reunited with the love of her life and others who have gone before her.
