I didn't know BJ for an exceedingly long amount of time, but long enough to know what a tremendous person he was. I cannot forget the smile he wore on his face when he was with all of his friends, hanging out and being in a world where he could be anything or anyone he wanted. He was so tremendously creative and brilliant. When he would come and hang out with the Cedar Rapids crew of friends, we would all talk for hours on end, laugh, share stories, and forget about everything if only for a little while. Yet his group of friends would always band together instantly in case of a problem or situation and we could always depend on each other to be there when we needed one another. My only regret is that I didn't get to know him better. He was a great man and will be missed by all, including myself, a person he touched tremendously, if but briefly. All my best, Tim
