Condolence: You never wanted to miss "break time" at Linn County REC. Jack might be telling stories of his travels and adventures. Sometimes the breaks lasted a lot longer than 15 minutes. Jack had a way a of making everyone feel special. A wonderful person, a leader by example and a man we all deeply respected.

Condolence: Jack was a major influence in my life, as a role model, mentor, and friend. He gave summer employment and encouragement as I navigated a BSEE at Iowa State. His positive reference led me to Stanley Consultants in Muscatine, where I spent my next 40 years as a professional engineer. Jack touched many lives and was highly regarded as Manager of Linn REC and as an international consultant with NRECA. Thank you, Jack.

Condolence: I knew Jack as a pilot who enjoyed aviation and meeting with pilots. He was happy to share a long life of experiences with all of us. As fellow farmers, Jack and I often chatted about markets and farming. He was a very nice man and I'm the better for having known him. I think he made everyone feel good. You'll always be in my flying and farming memories, Jack.
