Condolence: You will be greatly missed Great Grandpa Carver! I am glad we got to visit you last year and you got to meet Nicolas and Evelyn. Boy did Nicolas think your walker was cool. He couldn't believe it was a chair on wheels! He loved to see all the things you carved from wood, especially the cars! He wanted to play with them so bad! We miss and love you.

Condolence: Arnold you will surely be missed by all who have ever come in contact with you. One of the best stories we can remember about Arnold was his visit to El Paso back in 2005. We took him back to Fort Bliss Army Post and spent time with him in the museum on post. Oddly enough they had a vehicle exactly like the one he drove around during his time serving his country during WWII. He shared many memories during that visit to the museum. I don't think Tommy had even heard that many stories as he did on that day. Arnold was like a kid in a candy store. Then while in the PX in one of the shops Arnold was humbly looking for a dog tag allergy ID to purchase when he came face to face with not one but two Sergeant Majors in the Army stationed there who got drawn into a conversation with him regarding his time serving in the Army at which time they both snapped to ATTENTION and slowly saluted Arnold and then thanks him for his service then shook his hand. I have to tell you Arnold looked like he had something in his eyes. You could tell even as a humble patriotic American that made his day and I bet he never thought in a million years he would be saluted by two Sergeant Majors. Arnold you are a great American and part of "America's Greatest Generation" it has truly been a honor to have you as a part of our family.. God Bless You sir...

Condolence: Arnold Carver was a very, very sweet gentle man that I'm proud to call my grandpa. He always took the time to share a story about his childhood.
One of my favoriate memories is when grandpa, Patti, Emma and I went to the Amanas for Thanksgiving dinner. It was a very special day.. a memory I will never forget.
He will be dearly missed.

Love,
Sherrie Collins
