Condolence From: Deb Evans
Condolence: My condolences to Virginia and family. Steve was a wonderful man and uplifted my day many times. We had so much fun at work, I loved his smile and laugh, he was always so funny. When I left Torrance Electric Company, he was one of those people I truly missed and on occasion I would run into him, or drop in to see him and Marlys as they were my friends. Always a blessing! God bless you and may He uplift you in your times of grief and loss.

Condolence: Virge, I remember Steve well from when we worked together at Iowa Eyecare many years ago, he was such a funny guy and fun to talk to. MY brother Steve Charters also new him as he worked for him at Gardner Golf Course for a few summers and my brother also remembers what a jolly guy he was. He touched many lives Virge! MY thoughts and prayer go out to you and your entire family.

Condolence: My sincere sympathy to the Oakley family. I have fond memories of their visits to Okoboji and Steve's wry smile. He usually was ready with a quick joke and a belly laugh. I know he was so proud of his children and grandchildren...I envision him looking down and telling you all to enjoy life the way he did. He will be missed by you all, but know that our Father has wide arms, ready to accept you when you have a down day. I will be praying for you.

Condolence: Aunt Virginia, Nick, Sis, Darlene and Tieney
I was so blessed to have such a fun loving Uncle Steve in my life. He could always make me laugh. I know Mom really loved him and would always mention him in the stories she would talk about them growing up. He was very proud of all his kids and grandkids and never let a time go by he didn't have a story to tell about them. I will miss him.
Love and prayers to you all, Barb
