Life Story for Judith Ann "Judy" Kennedy (Kennedy)

Judith Ann Kennedy, 68, of Manchester passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at Silver Pines Senior Living, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Manchester, IA. by Rev. Mike Manaugh. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Thursday. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.

Judy was born June 28, 1945 in Manchester, IA, the daughter of Orville and Nellie Mae (Harrington) Kennedy. She was united in marriage to David Hogan, they later divorced.

Judy worked making and assembling wire harnesses and also several years as a housekeeper. Some of her favorite trips included traveling to California to visit her son when he was in the military and a trip to Disney World with her son and grandson.

Judy is survived by two children, Julie (significant other, Jason Wutzke) Hogan of Hiawatha, IA and Brad Hogan of Wheeling, IL; three grandchildren, Nathan Spencer, Patrick (Ericka) Hogan and Brenda Hogan; one great-grandchild, Elliott Hogan; and one brother, James (Catherine) Kennedy of Mount Vernon.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Nellie Mae Kennedy; grandparents, Farley and Cora Kennedy and Harry and Daisy Harrington.
