Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Ann Haren can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear that Mary Ann had passed away. I worked with Mary Ann for several years after I became the Delaware County Extension director in 1995. She was the best proofreader I ever worked with, and nobody could assemble and put out a newsletter faster than she could. And after all those years of working behind the scenes to help make the county 4H program successful, she was like a walking encyclopedia of the 4H kids. Even if she had never met them personally, she knew all their names, their parents’ names, and where they lived, which was extremely useful to the rest of us in the office in so many ways. I remember that her family was always very important to Mary Ann; my thoughts and prayers are with her family now.

Condolence: Bud & family - I am so very sorry to hear of Mary Ann's passing. She was a wonderful co-worker and a good friend. I know that I learned a lot from her and I think she learned a lot from me. She was the master at stuffing envelopes and I was thrilled after she taught me what to do and when I finally could do them ALMOST as fast as she could! She always stopped in just to say hi anytime she was in the courthouse. I enjoyed those visits - I will miss her and them. You and your family are in my thoughts & prayers. Love - Julie
