Wesley R.  "Wes"  Weber
Wesley R. “Wes” Weber, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at the home of his parents, in Marion. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church, Marion, by Rev. Dr. Howard Chapman. The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion.

Wes is survived by his parents, Fred and Judy Weber of Marion; his sister, Erin Weber of Cedar Rapids; his maternal grandparents, Russ and Donna Rhoads of Marion; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother, McKeon; grandparents, Fred and Dorothy Weber; and infant cousin, Robbie Smith.

Wes was born the son of Fred E. Weber, Jr. and Judy Kaye (Rhoads) Weber on November 21, 1983, in Cedar Rapids. He grew up in Marion, and attended Linn-Mar schools, Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, IA, and Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. Over the years Wes worked at various positions in the automotive industry. Wes enjoyed cycling, snowboarding, shooting pool, fast cars, and collecting and refurbishing guns and knives.

The family wishes to thank St. Luke’s ER, ICU, and the Hospice and Palliative Care Team.
